Why Ethiopia?

Ethiopia is known as the land of “13 months of sunshine” with the finest climate of Africa. With the incredibly varied wildlife, flora and fauna, Ethiopia is fit for any kind of vacation. Semitic languages are spoken in the North and much of the center of the country, including Tigre, Tigrinya, Guraginya and Ethiopia’s official language, Amharic. All are derived from the ancient Ge’ez, which today is used only in church liturgy and literature. Ethiopia is the cradle of mankind. According to scientists who found an ancient skeleton, which they named Lucy, the earliest known hominids walked in Ethiopia more than three million years ago.
